MSc student
Seabed and Iceland scallop habitat mapping in Sanikiluaq, Nunavut
We are recruiting an MSc student for a fully funded position at the Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland, beginning in fall 2025. This project will apply acoustic and seafloor sampling technologies to sample Iceland scallop in the northern Canadian community of Sanikiluaq. These data will be used to for habitat mapping to identify areas supporting scallop populations.
